Refractory Al2O3 Ballast

Al2O3 Refractory ballast for firing Filamet™ materials. This powder is utilized in the sintering of green-state parts post-print. Submerge your print in this refractory mullet ballast within your crucible. Ensure that the entire print and all surfaces are completely covered (min. 1cm from walls of crucible) and any protruding areas are fully submerged. This powder is reusable but must be filter sifted and cleaned after each use. To ensure safety, users must wear respiration & eye protection when using any Sapphire 3D sintering powders.
